Coffee with Milk/Café con Leche
Basics, Drinks, Spanish November 30th, 2007Café con leche is more milk than coffee and is very heavily sugared. Most adults drink it, as well as some children.
You need:
4 c. milk(*To reduce fat, use skim milk)
4 tsp. regular or decaffeinated instant coffee
8 tsp. sugar
Step1
In a saucepan, bring milk to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Step2
When milk begins to boil, turn off heat. Add coffee and sugar and stir until dissolved.
Step3
Serve Spanish style in four clear, heatproof glasses.
